ISLAMABAD, Nov 10(APP): President Dr Arif Alvi has said incumbent government strongly believes in emulating the state of Madina for creation of a better Islamic state.
While Addressing concluding session of International Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference in Islamabad on Sunday, he said the Ehsaas program started by the government is a step in the direction of a welfare state where vulnerable segments of population will be taken care of by the state.
He said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave the concept of Islam to Ummah in a very clear way.
The President said the Muslim world today is facing a number of challenges and issues and is looking forward to a stronger leadership.
Arif Alvi said Muslim Ummah is witnessing the plight of Kashmiris that have been held under lock down for the last three months.
