PSX sheds 526 points to close at 38,037 points

ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Wednesday noted bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 38,037.68 points as compared to 38,564.37 points on the last working day with the negative change of 526.69 points (1.37 %).

A total of 327,637,745 shares were traded compared to the trade 385,321,010 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 11.413 billion compared to Rs 14.059 billion during last trading day.

Total 384 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 130 recorded gain and 235 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.

The three top traded companies were World Call Telecom with a volume of 28,332,000 shares and price per share of Rs 1.59, Bank of Punjab with a volume of 17,097,500 and price per share of Rs 10.73 and Pak Elektron with a volume of 15,077,500 and price per share of Rs 23.51.

Unilever Foods XD recorded the maximum increase of Rs 345 per share, closing at Rs 7245 while Island Textile XD SD was runner up with the increase of Rs 70.93 per share, closing at Rs 1490.10.

Nestle Pakistan XD recorded maximum decrease of Rs 110 per share, closing at Rs 6225 whereas Colgate Palm decreases Rs 100 per share closing at Rs 1940.
