ISLAMABAD, Dec 02 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday noted bullish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 40,124.22 points as compared to 39,287.65 points on the last working day with the positive change of 836.57points (2.13 %).
A total of 557,394,494 shares were traded compared to the trade 431,853,610 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 16,481 billion compared to Rs 14,474 billion during last trading day.
Total 409 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 304 recorded gain and 89 sustained losses whereas the share price of 16 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab with a volume of 74,927,500 shares and price per share of Rs 12.40, K-Electric Ltd with a volume of 40,850,000 and price per share of Rs 4.59 and Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 37,700,000 and price per share of Rs 13.21.
Bata (Pak) XD recorded the maximum increase of Rs 92.90 per share, closing at Rs 1951.01 while Nestle Pakistan was runner up with the increase of Rs 92.05 per share, closing at Rs 6490.
Colgate Palm recorded maximum decrease of Rs 53 per share, closing at Rs 1980 whereas Highnoon (Lab) decreases Rs 23.42 per share closing at Rs 531.67.
