Mosque located in South Punjab declared as quarantine centre

MULTAN, Mar 30 (APP):An historic Abdali Mosque, the largest preaching centre of South Punjab, has been declared as quarantine where 316 faithfuls from home and abroad  are staying at the moment for preaching purposes.

Rescue 1122 boozers participated  in sterilization process of the mosque besides provision of 750  surgical masks and  100 hand sanitizers   as donation from district administration for the safety of the people on Monday.

Process of registration  began in addition to  screening of everyone staying at mosque.

Deputy Commissioner, Aamir Khattak visited the mosque today and  spoke to the faithfuls in Urdu as well in Pashto for awareness of COVID-19.

He said that the entire world was facing the pandemic including Pakistan urging them to wear masks and sensitize their hands as precautionary measures.

The DC order to provide all facilities to mosque administration and thanked it for extending cooperation in this connection.
