Speakers urge to eliminate non-state actors

ISLAMABAD, March 27 (APP):Non-state actors should be eliminated by implementing National Action Plan (NAP) in letter and spirit, speakers of a conference titled ‘Lenient Pakistan’ Wednesday said.

            The conference titled Lenient Pakistan, hosted by former Minister Pir Amin-ul- Hasnat Shah under the aegis of ‘Sada Salamat Pakistan Forum’ issued a unanimous declaration, urging Ulema to play their role in promoting harmony and love among various segments of society.

             The participants said lenient Pakistan guarantees peaceful future of the country. Religious freedom was right of every person and nobody should be forced to convert from his or her religion.

            The declaration demanded to control hate material being spread through social media. The declaration observed that the tragedy in New Zealand was defeat of hatred. The declaration prayed the services of Prime Minister of New Zealand for dealing the crisis with sagacity and political acumen.

The declaration condemned persistent brutalities being committed against Kashmiris by Indian occupied forces. The forum condemned assassination attempt on Maulana Taqi Usmani and observed that such heinous attempt was aimed at destroying peaceful atmosphere of the country.

            Speaking as chief guest ,leader of the Opposition in Senate and Chairman Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Raja Muhammad Zafaul Haq said a systematic propaganda campaign has been launched against Islam to instill hatred in minds of the people of other religions against Muslims.

He said the Muslims of Syria, Kashmir, Myanmar deserves all out support of fellow Muslims. Tolerance, love , leniency should be promoted in the society.
