First Hajj flight arrives at Madina Munawara

MADINA, Saudi Arabia, July 24 (APP): The first Hajj flight PK 2003 carrying329 Hujjaj arrived at Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport here on Monday.

Sajid Yousafani, Director General Pakistan Hajj Mission Jeddah, Asif Memon, Deputy Consul General, Ashraf Lanjar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs and other senior officials of the Embassy and Consulate of Pakistan, received the hujjaj at the airport.

The second flight from Pakistan and first flight under the private Hajj scheme, of Shaheen Airline NL-751, carrying 253 Hajis arrived at King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah on Monday.

The pilgrims were received by Imtiaz Shah, Director Hajj, M Arshad Munir, Consul Press and Saeed Sarwar, head of chancery and other officials of the Consulate General of Pakistan and Pakistan Hajj mission, Jeddah.

Shaheen Airline flight at Jeddah was also the first Hajj flight landing at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah. The chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdul Hakeem Al-Tamimi and other senior government officials of the Saudi government were also present at the airport to receive the pilgrims on their arrival.

Tamimi greeted the pilgrims with welcome gifts and flowers.
Elaborate measures have been taken to receive the Hujjaj at the both the airports.
The Hajj mission has also arranged welcome snacks for all the Hajis on arrival at the airport. 1954 Hajis will arrive to Saudi Arabia under government Hajj scheme through 08 flights on July 24.
