PSX sheds 335 points to close at 39,788 points

ISLAMABAD, Dec 03 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Tuesday noted bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at39, 788.73 points as compared to 40,124.22 points on the last working day with the negative change of 335.49 points (-0.84%).

A total of 448,876,000 shares were traded compared to the trade 557,394,494 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 14,430 billion compared to Rs 16,481 billion during last trading day.

Total 392 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 154 recorded gain and 229 sustained losses whereas the share price of 09 companies remained unchanged.

The three top traded companies were , K-Electric Ltd with a volume of 42,806,000 shares and price per share of Rs 4.69, TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 25,292,000 and price per share of Rs 24.58 and Bank of Punjab with a volume of 19,149,500 and price per share of Rs 11.96.

Nestle Pakistan recorded the maximum increase of Rs 324.50 per share, closing at Rs 6814.50 while Bata (Pak) was runner up with the increase of Rs 97.46 per share, closing at Rs 2048.47.

Rafhan Maize recorded maximum decrease of Rs 100  per share, closing at Rs 6900 whereas Colgate Palm decreases Rs 90 per share closing at Rs 1890.
