PBCC holds Exhibition T-10 Blind Cricket Match

Islamabad, Dec 3 (APP): Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) observed International Day of Persons with Disabilities through “Exhibition T-10 Blind Cricket Match” between Rawalpindi-Islamabad Sports Journalists Association (RISJA) and Islamabad Cricket Club of the Blind (ICCB) at Bhutto Cricket Ground G-7 Markez Islamabad.

The objective of the event was to promote the understanding of disability issues, social needs and equal participation of persons with disabilities in Sports, leading to social integration and healthy society.

Qasim Khan Suri, Deputy Speaker National Assembly was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Syed Sultan Shah Chairman PBCC in his post-match address said that “PBCC is using “Sports” as a strong and effective tool to develop their leadership abilities and to promote participation in sports, cultural and social integration. It is a tool for the empowerment of persons with visual impairment for inclusive, equitable and sustainable development.

Qasim Khan Suri, Deputy Speaker appreciated the efforts and achievements of PBCC and said that Govt of Pakistan is taking steps for the betterment and empowerment of Person with Disabilities.
