ISLAMABAD, Mar 09 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday noted bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 37,058.95 points as compared to 38,219.67 points on the last working day with the negative change of 1,160.72 points (3.04 %).
A total of 307,960,340 shares were traded compared to the trade 244,454,530 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at 11.484 billion as compared to Rs 11.333 billion during last trading day.
As many as 360 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market Wednesday, out of which 125 recorded gain and 218 sustained losses whereas the share price of 17 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were, Fauji Cement with a volume of 30,659,500 shares and price per share of Rs 18.69, Bank of Punjab with a volume of 22,968,000 and price per share of Rs 10.72 and Maple Leaf with a volume of 22,521,500 and price per share of Rs 29.98.
