ISLAMABAD, Aug 19 (APP): National Locust Control Centre (NLCC) on Wednesday updated that Anti locust survey and control operations are in progress in all the affected areas of the country and 235000 hectares area has been surveyed during last 24 hours.
The NLCC further informed that during last 24 hours 120 hectares of District Lasbella of Baluchistan, 206 hectares of district Tharparkar of Sindh and 10 hectares of district Rahim Yar khan of Punjab are covered under Locust control operation.
Moreover, in last 6 months, control operation has been carried out on 1114853 hectares area of land.
