SIALKOT, July 14 (APP):- Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has endorsed the Shehbaz Sharif’s massive corruption and money laundering story published in leading British Daily Mail. She strongly criticized Shehbaz Sharif and his family, saying that the Sharifs also plundered 500 million pounds relief aid donated by the Great Britain for the relief and help of the earthquake victims in Pakistan. She said that Shehbaz has also deceived the British people as well as Pakistani nation through this massive corruption and money laundering. She said that this shameful act by the corruption king Shehbaz and his gang has earned bad name for Pakistan globally besides creating a bad impression of Pakistan as well.
She stated this while talking to the newsmen at Sialkot here after this noon.
She said that all the responsible national institutions in Pakistan will now probe into this nasty matter of Shehbaz Sharif corruption, published in British newspaper Daily Mail.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that it was British media has highlighted this massive corruption and money laundering of Shehbaz Sharif and his family, due to which the ample proofs of their corruption have become before the world now.
She said ” it was a great truth published by leading British newspaper Daily Mail, and it was not any act of revenge by the Pakistan government against Shehbaz Sharif and his corrupt gang”.
She expressed grave concern over this , what she said, shameful act, that the Sharifs had also plundered the millions of pounds of aid by British people for the help of earthquake and flood victims in Pakistan.
“Now, they have deceived the British people after continuously deceiving the Pakistani people through this massive corruption and money laundering”, she added.
She said that the Sharif family also weakened the national institutions for their personal gains and to protect their national and even now international corruption. She said that they were the “certified plunderers”.
“Daily Mail’s this corruption story has opened the more doors of Shehbaz Sharif and Sons’ corruption at international level”, she stated.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the total assets of Shehbaz Sharif in UK were worth of 150000 pound in 2003 and these assets rose up to the worth of 200 million pounds in 2018 through massive corruption and money laundering.
She said that a person Aftab Ahmed in UK namely Afta Ahmed did money laundering of the millions of the pounds from UK to Pakistan for Shehbaz Sharif, as reported in Daily Mail news story.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that now international and foreign media was exposing the corruption and money laundering of the Shehbaz Sharif.
“This was the foreign media not any Pakistani media. You could not deny this report about your massive corruption”, she asked Shehbaz Sharif.
She further asked Shehbaz Sharif to honour his committments and quit the politics in the larger national interest, as yout corruption has been proved globally.
Firdous also revealed that this shameful act of massive corruption and money laundering by the Sharif family has hurt the sentiments of the entire Pakistani nation.
She asked Shehbaz ” please tender apology before the nation, accept your international corruption and this money laundering and quit the politics in the larger national interest”.
Sh said that PTI government was striving for getting restored Pakistan’s lost integrity globally.
She said that both of the political parties (PML-N and PPP) were busy in their political acting and deceiving the nation by staging their daily political dramas in the country as well.
It was an eye opener and point of grave concern for the whole of the Pakistani nation that now the foreign media was exposing this massive corruption and money laundering of the leading Pakistani plunderers ( Shehbaz Sharif and his corrupt gang), which had weakened the national institutions to cover their corruption for their personal gains as well.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that there was complete freedom of expression to the Pakistani media, saying the media was enjoying complete freedom, as the PTI government was ensuring the Right of Freedom of Expression and Speech in Pakistan. She said that some actors in Pakistan were giving an impression that the media was not having freedom in Pakistan. She strongly condemned this wrong perception by some media actors. She said that it was the top agenda of Prime Minister Imran Khan to protect the rights of the media workers.
She said that the government was strengthening the national institutions besides ensuring their complete autonomy as well.
Firdous revealed “there was no act of any political revenge against anyone in Pakistan. However, she said that the corrupts will have to face accountability”.
She said government was committed to recovery the every looted penny from all the national plunderers, as they were the certified plunderers.
She said that all the responsible national institutions in Pakistan will now probe into this nasty matter of Shehbaz Sharif corruption, published in British newspaper Daily Mail.
She said that they had made it their political motto that “Note Ko Izzat Do, not Vote Ko Izzat Do”.
Now, the said corrupt gang was misleading the traders community to come on roads against government and observe strike.
“Actually they were busy in daydreaming to topple the PTI government”, she said.
They were the plunderers not the leaders, which were still misleading the nation for their personal gains.
“Please have a mercy and stop misleading the nation”, she stated.
