Rupee slightly up by Rs 0.03 in interbank

ISLAMABAD, Feb 21 (APP): The exchange rate of Pakistani Rupee against US dollar gained Rs 0.03 in interbank on Friday and was traded at Rs 154.20 as compared to Rs 154.23 of last trading day, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported.

However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of Dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 154.00 and Rs 154.30 respectively.

The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro appreciated by Rs 0.19 and was traded at Rs 166.81 against the last closing of Rs 166.62.

The exchange rate of Japanese yen gained Rs 0.01 and was traded at Rs 1.38 against Rs 1.37 whereas the increase of Rs 0.06 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 199.20 as compared to last closing of Rs 199.14.

Exchange rate of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal shed Rs 0.01 each and were traded at Rs 41.98 and Rs 41.11 against Rs 41.99 and Rs 41.12 respectively, SBP reported.
