Dollar jumps up by Rs 0.86 in interbank

ISLAMABAD, Mar 10 (APP):The exchange rate of US Dollar against Pakistani Rupee witnessed increase of Rs 0.86 in interbank on Tuesday and was traded at Rs 157.44 against Rs 156.58 on last trading day, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported.

However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of Dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 156.00 and Rs 157.00 respectively.

The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro appreciated by 0.48 and was traded at Rs 178.77 against the last closing of Rs 178.29 on last trading day.

The Japanese yen was traded at Rs 1.50 against Rs 1.52, showing decrease of Rs 0.02 whereas an increase of Rs 0.05 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 205.72 as compared to its last closing at Rs 205.67.

The Exchange rate of UAE Dirham witnessed increase of Rs 0.24 and was trade at Rs 42.86 as compared to Rs 42.62 whereas the rate of Saudi Rayal gained Rs 0.23 and was traded at Rs 41.94 against Rs 41.71.
